The sweetest book. It resonated so deeply with our experience in the NICU, and I feel confident that other parents of NICU children will feel the same way.

There truly are not enough words to say how much this books means to me. It completely encapsulated every aspect of what life is like in the NICU. It brings tears to my eyes every time I read it, along with my entire families, and it will be cherished for many years to come. I look forward to the day I can sit down and properly show my miracle boy exactly what he went through to be here & also pay tribute to those looking down above who weren’t as lucky. I used this book as a guest book for my son’s first birthday recently and loved the special messages page added for this. I couldn’t recommend this book enough. As a NICU mum I am so grateful that you were able to find such a beautiful and touching way to tell what really is such a hard journey for all. Additionally the quality and pictures are phenomenal.

We love this book for our brave little girl who started her life in the nicu. We love that the pictures look how she did, and we love that it touches on many different reasons babies might be in the nicu- the big babies and small. I purchased this book for my first Mother’s Day & it was so emotionally beautiful. I was crying on the first page! Tears of sadness reflecting on our NICU journey but also tears of proudness on how strong our NICU little warriors are. It’s been a lovely book to share with family members & will be a child appropriate way to explain to my baby how her life begun and why her newborn photos might look a bit different to her friends etc. highly recommend!

Our now 8 year old grandson who was born at 26 weeks and spent months in NICU was captivated by this book. It led to many questions by him and provided a great opportunity for us to discuss his early life and health issues with him. Well done!

We are so grateful to be able to share this book with our children and family. Our youngest was born prematurely and spent the first 6 months of life in NICU; our eldest child was only 2 at the time, and she had lots of questions which we weren't able to answer.
While reading this as a parent, provoked so many emotions for me. It also provided clarity to both of our girls who have seen many photographs of the journey and didn't know the why.
The illustrations are beautifully done, right down to the different medical interventions such as a CPAP mask, cannula, and pumps.
It explains the journey in a way that recognises the many complexities like the emotions that parents face and the joy of being able to bring your baby home .. finally!
We are so grateful to be able to have this as a special keepsake in our home 💕
